Guidant Partners is proud to announce the hire of Executive Advisor, Rusty Goodsell. Rusty will be responsible for cultivating new partnerships and generating new business. Rusty is a highly motivated self-starter, but he enjoys working in a team environment. His success in sales dates all the back to high school, when Rusty was the #3 sales representative for Cutco Cutlery on the east coast. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Christopher Newport University, he joined AT&T, where he became the #5 salesperson in his position across the entire company. When questioned about his impressive ability to close business, he jokingly stated, "With the last name Goodsell, I feel like I have no other option." He later shared that the key to his success in sales is his ability to ask good questions, ensuring that the solution he proposes truly meets people's needs.

Rusty and his wife Sarah Goodsell, a neonatal intensive care unit nurse at Vanderbilt Hospital, have been happily married for nearly four years and will be celebrating the birth of their first child in mid to late October. Rusty and Sarah have a strong passion for foreign missions and serving others. Rusty dedicated over a year of his life to live in India, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Brazil - where he served families in poverty. He not only looks out for others, but he takes pride in maintaining good health. Rusty currently plays in a recreational soccer league, tries to find time for the tennis court, and even hits the boxing ring when he wants to get a good workout. Guidant Partners is excited about adding Rusty Goodsell to their team. He will undoubtedly play a vital role in their future success.
