Tom Toner, Corporate Chaplain, has served with a ministry called Corporate Chaplains of America (CCA) for over eleven years. CCA is retained by companies to care for and minister to their employees and their families. He currently serves over 600 employees from three companies - Coca-Cola, Wilson and Associates, and Guidant Partners. Responsibilities of a corporate chaplain range from helping an employee or a family member through an emotional crisis, to visiting a loved one in a local hospital. Tom will also facilitate wedding ceremonies after pre-marital counseling. In the unfortunate event of the death of an employee or family member, Tom would go through the grieving process with the family or help with funeral arrangements. Tom states, "As a chaplain, no two days are the same. The only constant is that I try to share the love of God in some way with everyone I meet."

When asked why he chose to be a corporate chaplain, Tom stated, "I lived the first 30 years of my life powerfully prideful, serving myself. The effects of drugs and alcohol abuse at an early age almost caused the destruction of my marriage and family. It is only by the grace of God that I came to know His love for me.  My heart changed, my marriage restored a new life began! I simply want to share the love of a merciful God with everyone I meet." Tom believes that God has a purpose and plan for everyone. Tom has been equipped with interpersonal skills to help people realize that God has a plan for each of us.

Tom and wife Janice Toner have been married for 31 years. They are the proud parents of 3 grown children, and 5 grandchildren. Tom has an entrepreneurial spirit, and is always seeking to learn new things. He enjoys a good book, and reading through long articles.  Tom really enjoys a good long game of racquetball and a short nap afterwards. Tom is a friend, minister, and valued member of the Guidant Partners' team.
